In conversation at the Chalke History Festival

On 23 June, Alanna appeared at Chalke History Festival in conversation with John Tregoning, Professor of Vaccine Immunology and author of 'Live Forever: A Curious Scientist's Guide to Wellness, Aging and Death'. Their talk, titled 'The Quest For Eternal Life: A History of Ageing and Death', explored how causes of death have changed over time, how doctors from the Renaissance to the modern day have tried to stave off disease, and whether the 'wellness' movement offers any solutions.
